Lightning Code 2012 is a simple minimal-click, fully customizable, intelligent .NET Code Generator; capable of generating feature-rich web sites and web applications available as native web applications, dotnetnuke modules, and sharepoint templates. The initial release will support code generation in both C# and VB.net
The next release of Lightning Code will support all versions of the .net framework from 2.0 up to the latest version 4.5 (currently in beta). Solutions will be available in all versions of visual studio from visual studio 2005 up to the latest visual studio 11 (currently in beta). Supported databases will include all versions of sql server from sql server 2005 to the latest release of sql server 2012. Upgrading from each of the versions listed above will be as simple as click and download.
Lightning Code 2012 will support complete application versioning and conflict resolution across the entire application including the presentation layer, business logic layer,data access layer, and database schema. Generated solutions can be easily edited in visual studio and all changed re-integrated back into the generated project for future updates; this includes complete template customization as was available in Lightning Code 1.7
